MAE A6000S 24-bit seismograph for seismic prospecting stands out for its data acquisition platform of last generation combined to the user-friendly operative system structured in menus that can be browsed, with different functions according to the type of seismic probing selected by simply touching the colour, touch-screen monitor of large sizes. The main characteristic of this series of seismographs is the 24-bit resolution for each single channel. This result is achieved thanks to the adoption of a new, 24 bit, MAE data acquisition card that uses an A/D digital converter for each inlet channel of the seismograph (SST technology).
The adoption of this architecture renders A6000S ideal for all types of active and passive seismic prospecting,
and for structural surveys and inspections on buildings and infrastructural works (acquisition of vibrations
with accelerometers or low frequency seismic sensors, tomographic surveys, etc).
Thanks to the great versatility and numerous automatic, pre-acquisition checking procedures, from the proper
connection of the geophones to the analysis of the noise relative to the site inspected, the data acquisition
is always particularly easy to handle by anybody. It is also possible to carry out a first analysis of the data acquired, also for single wave, directly on site, visualizing the seismograms in details, with just a few simple operations. The data is saved on an internal, solid state hard disk, for better protection in case of collisions, or on an external USB memory.
